It takes damn long to render. So I shall refuse render till I finish modeling and texturing everything. Screenshots are not that bad now that Blender has GLSL. Don't mid the lights, they are there so that my screenshot wouldn't be black. In the final render everything would be meshlights.

Lol. I've been seeing it a lot lately. My school's computer club is teaching it. (I'm not in though)

I could do better than whoever is teaching. -.-||| Real *facepalm*

Haha yea. Those "courses" always teach nothing more than using the basic interface, and sometimes less. For Blender, its worse, seeing how massively hotkey oriented it is.

all of my blender experience is self taught over three years. except for tutorials that cover specific things like dof, physics baking and hdri and such

Same...except I read documentation instead of tutorials. Same purpose, though. There really ain't any point trying to learn all this "from the book"
